2027 Scholarship Application not open yet

I have been a member of the varsity track and field team for four years. I began my career at Athens High School, where | placed 8th in pole vault at both the indoor and outdoor state meets.

My sophomore year, I transferred to Federal Hocking High School and earned state runner-up honors in pole vault during both the indoor and outdoor seasons.

As a junior, I stepped out of my comfort zone and added hurdles to my events. That year, I became the indoor and outdoor state champion in pole vault, while also placing 7th in the 100-meter hurdles and 10th in the 300-meter hurdles.

Now in my senior year, I continue to compete and build on that success. I was once again the indoor state champion in pole vault and earned state runner-up in the 60-meter hurdles.

I will be attending Marietta College in the fall to continue both my academic and athletic career as a collegiate track and field athlete.

My name is Hannah Sheets, and I am a senior in the graduating class of 2026. I have competed in outdoor track during all four years of my career at Crooksville High School.

This fall, I will attend Franciscan University of Steubenville, where I will continue my running career in cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track. I will be majoring in mechanical engineering with a minor in aerospace to become a field meteorologist.

Sydney Starcher is a senior at Warren High School who is graduating with academic honors and has had an outstanding track career. Sydney is a four year varsity letter winner in track doing both sprints and jumps. Sydney has earned All Ohio Honors in Outdoor Track two times during her high school career, and one year All Ohio in Indoor Track. Recently, she earned All American status in the high jump at the Adidas Indoor National Track meet by placing runner-up. She has committed to Marshall University Thundering Herd Track team.

Hi, my name is Sophia Szolosi and I am a Senior at Athens High School. I have participated in track and cross country for four years where I have been fortunate enough to earn multiple state titles across the 3200m, 1600m, and cross country 5k event. Outside from running, I serve as the Vice President for Key Club and National Honor society where I have devoted time to various service initiatives such as food/clothing drives and charity fundraising. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, cooking, and spending time outdoors. This Fall, I will be attending Duke University where I will compete on the track and cross country team while pursuing a degree in biology on the Pre-med path.
